The Winnipeg Public Art Works mobile app helps people find 64 hidden gems that punctuate and brighten our city – from a giant kettle at Beaumont Station to youth-created collages and wood carvings on Bunn’s Creek Trail to a glacier in Assiniboine Park.
Learn all about public art in Winnipeg: how to find it, why it’s there, and what it means. Get outside, learn fun facts, answer trivia questions, start your own art collection, and hear from the artists who created the work.
The app is free for both iOS and Android devices. It was created by local developer Kevin Doole through Winnipeg’s Public Art Program, managed by the Winnipeg Arts Council on behalf of the City of Winnipeg.
