Registration is now open for fun and free summer reading programs for families, children, and teens!
The TD Summer Reading Club is free and open to children of all interests, ages, and abilities.
To pick up a free bilingual reading kit for children up to 12 years old, stop by one of our Winnipeg Public Library branches. This kit includes an activity notebook, stickers, and a calendar to track reading and win prizes.
For each day they spend reading or being read to, children colour in their calendar. They receive a ballot for every five days they colour in. Ballots can be entered at any branch for a chance to win great prizes, including books, swim passes, or tickets to a Winnipeg Goldeyes baseball game on July 21.
Teens in Grades 7-12 can pick up their bilingual Teen Summer Challenge Card at any branch or find it online. They receive a ballot for each challenge completed.
Check out the online calendar or view the What’s On for Children, Families, and Teens for more information on summer programs. The TD Summer Reading Club and other summer programs run until August 30.
