- The reception centre will reopen at 10:00am today. Closing time is yet to be determined as Hydro does still expect to have the power back on this afternoon.
- All 1000 (approximately) homes on the targeted list were visited by WFPS yesterday, with the operation ending at 10pm. Many residents were not home, however those who were expressed gratitude for the check in.
- 5 vulnerable individuals were identified and connected with appropriate supports.
- The reception centre registered 30 individual residents (some with entire families). 75 meals were served through a partnership with Salvation Army.
- Connections were made with WRHA/Shared Health for any individuals requiring home care supports.
- 311 volumes have dropped significantly, a few additional calls related to downed trees and sewer backup. Those are being deployed as service requests to the appropriate departments.
