Summer is here and so is the seasonal bike route program!
Speed limit reductions are now in effect on several Winnipeg streets as part of the Council-approved 2024 seasonal bike route program.
Signage reducing the speed limit is now on the following streets:
- Lyndale Dr: Cromwell St to Gauvin St (30 km/h)
- Wellington Cres: Academy Rd to Academy Rd/Maryland St (30 km/h)
- Churchill Dr: Hay St to Jubilee Ave (30 km/h)
- Kilkenny Dr: Burgess Ave and Kings Dr (40 km/h)
- Kings Dr: Kilkenny Dr to Patricia Ave (40 km/h)
These speed reductions are in place 24/7 now until late October.
Turn requirements/restrictions will be added at select intersections as City crews complete spring clean-up operations. These restrictions will apply to weekends in May, June, September, and October and 24/7 in July and August.
