Residents advised to check their snow zone letter as it may have changed; motorists urged to park elsewhere when a residential street is scheduled for snow clearing
Plowing of residential streets will begin Sunday morning to improve overall roadway conditions. As a result, a Residential Parking Ban has been declared and will be in effect Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 7 a.m. until Tuesday, December 19, 2022 at 7 p.m.

G: Crescentwood, Rockwood, Grant Park
Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 7 p.m. to Monday, December 19, 2022 at 7 a.m.
F: River Heights, Wellington Cres, Sir John Franklin, J. B. Mitchell, Mathers
Monday, December 19, 2022 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
K: Pembina Strip
M: Beaumont, Maybank
Monday, December 19, 2022 at 7 p.m. to Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 7 a.m.
C: Linden Woods (north of Lindenwoods Dr E), Buffalo, Brockville, Chevrier

Residents are advised to check their 2022/23 snow zone letter as zones may change from year-to-year. This winter season, approximately 18,000 addresses will have a new snow zone letter.
Residents can find their snow zone letter by using our Address Lookup Tool, downloading and using our Know Your Zone app, or by contacting 311.
Parking ban enforcement:
Residents are encouraged to make alternate parking arrangements if they park on the street, such as using an off-street driveway or parking lot.
Vehicles parked in violation of the Residential Parking Ban may receive a $200 ticket ($150 if paid early), and may be towed to a nearby street that is not scheduled to be plowed, or has already been cleared.
Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) technology will be used to identify vehicles parked in violation of Residential Parking Bans to ensure greater city-wide parking enforcement coverage, improve motorist compliance with winter parking bans, and improve our overall snow clearing service. Those parked in violation will receive tickets in the mail, rather than on the windshield of their vehicle; however, enforcement officers will continue to hand-deliver penalty notices to vehicles when necessary.
If a resident believes their vehicle may have been towed due to the Residential Parking Ban, they are asked to contact 311 for assistance in locating it.
Reporting a missed street:
If a residential street was not cleared as scheduled, residents are asked to wait until the Residential Parking Ban is lifted as crews may return to any given street within the operation’s duration. If the street remains uncleared after November 26, residents should then report it to 311. Residents can also report the location following the ban’s conclusion using the quick and convenient online form.
Additional information:
Approximately 300 pieces of heavy equipment will be used for this snow clearing operation. Motorists are reminded to drive to conditions and to use extreme caution when driving near heavy equipment.
