The Happy Fund was actually the proposed name for the wellness fund! Bringing happiness and light was the entire purpose of the Mobile Menorah from the Chabad-Lubavitch Jewish Learning Centre. A way to celebrate by bringing light and mitzvah, making the community a happier and brighter place.
As you may have noticed on residential streets of the city during Chanukah in December, the Menorah Mobile a truck-mounted menorah with festive music playing that safely offered menorahs and candles to those who need needed.
While Chanukah is over for another year, this funding will reimburse organizers for costs related to construction, truck rental, fuel, sound system and giveaways items like menorahs, candles and holiday guides.
