The preliminary budget for 2021 is being drafted following the annual Citizen Survey this October. This budget is an update and continuation of the 4-year budget approved in the winter of 2020. Once completed, the budget will be presented to the Executive Policy Committee (EPC) on November 27th.
Following this presentation, a series of public meetings will take place to consider the budget recommendations. Members of the public can speak at these meetings to provide feedback on the preliminary budget, or submit written comment for the committee to consider.
Information on registering to speak, submitting comments, and the full meeting schedule are on the budget update website.
Final recommendations will go to EPC December 15th, and it will be considered by Council on the 16th.
