Winnipeg’s Community Service Ambassadors Preventing Spread of COVID-19

Ambassadors are present in City parks and public spaces to help ensure social and physical distancing requirements are met.

During these unprecedented times, outdoor and activity can be essential for health and well being. However, it is important to remember while staying active outdoors to also stay at least 2 metres from others, and to not congregate in groups of more than 10. Observing social distancing is crucial to limiting community spread of COVID-19. Community Ambassadors are patrolling in City spaces to provide gentle reminders to observe social distancing, and liaise with enforcement officials when necessary,
