Winnipeg Safe City Initiative Survey

Winnipeg Safe City Initiative Survey

The Winnipeg Committee for Safety in partnership with UN Women Safe Cities is currently conducting a citywide survey on safety in Winnipeg. We are reaching out to residents across all wards to gather diverse perspectives on what safety means in their communities.

Our goal is to use this data to inform meaningful action at both the citywide and ward levels. We believe the insights gathered will not only support our broader efforts but may also provide valuable information for your office in addressing safety concerns locally.

As part of this initiative, we are asking respondents to identify the communities they live in. Understanding that safety looks different across neighborhoods, we are committed to collecting feedback from a broad and representative cross-section of the city. To ensure inclusivity, we are also engaging with communities that may have limited access to the internet through in-person outreach.

The survey will remain open through August and possibly into September. We aim to share a summary of the data with you in the fall.

WINNIPEG, WE NEED YOUR VOICE!

We’re asking residents from every corner of our city to take 2 minutes to fill out this important survey:

We’re collecting city-wide data to push for real change but we need your input to make it count. Whether you live in the North End, St. Vital, Charleswood, or right here in Daniel McIntyre your experience matters.

This is your chance to speak up about what’s happening in our communities and help us back it with the numbers we need to fight for action.

✅Fill it out

✅Share it

✅Tag a friend in another part of the city to do the same

Let’s show how powerful our voices can be when we work together.
