Make sure access points are properly and securely locked 2. Keep windows covered by blinds or curtains so valuables can’t be seen 3. Video cameras can be a great defense, and serve as a tool for identifying offenders 4. Motion lights are also a good and cost-effective way to deter thieves 5. Keep keys for cars or recreational vehicles in a safe place inside your home Remember – always report property theft, even if it seems small.
