Nominations are now open to recognize community-minded residents as we mark 150 years as a city.
Winnipeg 150 medals will be presented by the Mayor and members of City Council to deserving Winnipeggers who have made a significant contribution to their neighbourhood or the city at large. In total, 150 medals will be presented during this anniversary year.
Recipients will receive a specially designed Winnipeg 150 medal, a certificate signed by the Mayor, and a tree planted in their name in a City park.
Residents can submit nominations on or before July 15, 2024. Nominees cannot be currently employed by the City of Winnipeg. They are also ineligible if they’ve previously received awards for community service or volunteerism from the City.
