The Central Corydon Community Centre Inc. was awarded a $100,000.00 City grant to support the Outdoor Rink Boards Project. Thirteen City-owned community centres will receive funding for renovations through the City of Winnipeg’s Community Centre Renovation Grant Program (CCRGP).
Councillor Orlikow is proud to support the Community Centres in the River Heights – Fort Garry Ward with continued investment to ensure they remain the busy, vibrant spaces that benefit all the members of the community.
The City of Winnipeg’s CCRGP ensures that City-owned, board-run community centres can access much-needed assistance required to complete facility repairs, upgrades, retrofits, safety improvements, and renovation projects.
Since the program’s inception in 2012, the City has invested over $16.6 million towards community centre renovations across Winnipeg.
