As of noon today, spray pads around the City will be open to the public!
In response to the extreme heat in the forecast and in consideration of the Province’s public health orders issued yesterday, the City of Winnipeg has opened its spray pads for residents who need them as an option to provide relief from the heat.
The spray pads will be monitored by the City’s Community Service Ambassadors and will help our residents stay cool, safe, and distanced while enjoying the spray pads.
Beginning today, 21 of the 23 stand-alone spray pads around the City will be opening and will continue to operate until the provincial public health orders expire on June 12.
Check the list below for the spray pad in your area and enjoy them free of charge daily from noon to 8 pm:

Please note that the City will not be sanitizing the spray pads and the on-site washroom facilities will not be available for use. Per provincial health orders, gatherings with anyone outside of your household are not permitted. Wading pools and outdoor pools will not be opening at this time.
