I am proud to announce that City Council approved a $130,000 grant from the Winnipeg Foundation to improve and enhance Munson Park for all of us who love this park.
This investment is on top of what is done already but provides for an additional $15,0000 over 7 years for enhanced maintenance and $25,000 towards rehabilitative improvements.
Our enjoyment of this park will be enhanced with additional plantings of flower beds, new trees and shrubs, pathway repairs and fixes, new lighting and upgrades to the historic fence that runs along Wellington Crescent.
Thank you to the Winnipeg Foundation for this wonderful grant and for making an amazing park even more amazing.
