It’s been challenging to find ways to safely connect with friends and loved ones. As we know, outdoor options are always encouraged, weather-permitting.
The grant will provide funding for two community benches adjacent to 255 Oak Street entrance of the St. Andrews River Heights United Church to provide options for safe visits.
The benches will be long enough to allow safe distancing for two adults with masks and, once installed, they will encourage community members to stay active and walk around the neighbourhood, as they know they will have an open air place to stop and take a break.
