The City of Winnipeg recently launched MyUtilityBill - a web portal that provides a convenient new way to manage your utility bill account(s) online. You can manage your account(s), monitor consumption, receive email notifications, access paperless bills, submit meter readings and much more, on a mobile-friendly website.
To sign up, you’ll need a valid email address, as well as your utility account number and water meter number (you can find that information on a recent utility bill). Visit MyUtilityBill.winnipeg.ca to create your profile. Once there, you can also access a helpful how-to video on creating your online profile. Alternatively, call the Utility Billing Centre at 204.986.2455 and City staff will help you set it up.
Once registered with MyUtilityBill, you will receive email notifications whenever it’s time to submit a meter reading or a new bill/notice is ready for viewing. It’s important to provide regular meter readings to ensure you only pay for the water you use and to protect yourself from costly water leaks.
With MyUtilityBill, you will automatically be signed up for paperless billing, but you can also choose to opt out, if you prefer to continue receiving paper bills.
