A history of the iconic Winnipeg to Grand Beach train from 1916-1956.
People remembered:
the boardwalk, concessions, the Moonlight Inn, picnics, the carousel, the dancing pavilion, Daddy Trains, beach romances, and a bygone era when passengers felt part of one big family.
Sixty years of train service to the east shores of Lake Winnipeg ceased, writer Barbara Lange shares a journey of discovery.
