Job Fair for Certified & Uncertified Home Care Attendants

WRHA Home Care is hosting a job fair on Monday, October 23 from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the RBC Convention Centre. This job fair is to recruit and screen candidates for their Uncertified Home Care Attendant (UHCA) Training Program and certified Home Care Attendant vacancies.

They’re looking for passionate individuals with experience providing personal care to children, persons 65 years and older, and/or those with disabilities.

Applicants MUST have effective English verbal and written communication skills, possess and maintain a valid intermediate or full stage Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license, and have personal access to a vehicle for work purposes. Proof of driver’s license MUST be shown on the day of the job fair in order to be considered for the UHCA training program or certified HCA vacancies.

WHAT TO BRING:

1. A printed copy of your resume
2. Two work-related references
3. Proof of valid intermediate or full stage Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Candidates should be prepared to participate in on-the-spot interviews and write a Home Care Attendant general knowledge test.

Please note: Successful candidates are required to sign a return of service agreement to remain actively employed within the WRHA Home Care Program for a period of twelve (12) months.
