Registration for spring/summer activities begins March 19, 2024
The City of Winnipeg’s Spring/Summer 2024 Leisure Guide, Spring
Leisure Guide Skating brochure, and Spring Leisure Guide Swimming brochure are now available for viewing online. Registration for all spring and summer activities (with the exception of summer swimming) begins Tuesday, March 19 at 8 a.m. for Winnipeg residents, and Thursday, March 21 at 8 a.m. for non-residents.
Whether you are looking to try something new, get creative, or commit to a healthy routine, the Spring/Summer 2024 Leisure Guide offers a wide variety of recreation and leisure programming for you and your family.
Registration can be completed:
- Online at leisureONLINE
- By calling 311
- In person at our registration centre at the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex on March 19 only between 8 am – 12 pm
- In person at 395 Main St (French service available)
- In person at Accès–Access Saint-Boniface, 170 Goulet St (French service)
- In person at any City indoor pool during regular operating hours (French service available at Bonivital Pool and Margaret Grant Pool)
Those planning to register for Leisure Guide activities using leisureONLINE are encouraged to check that they are able to successfully log in to their online account BEFORE registration starts. Those experiencing difficulty accessing their account are advised to call 311. Video tutorials are available on how to create an account, how to
add a family member, how to search for an activity, how to use the wish list feature, how to register for an activity, and how to view activity completion status.
Our user-friendly mobile version of leisureONLINE allows easier access to browse and sign up for activities using your mobile device. The wish list feature also allows users to add their favourite activities for easy access on registration day.
Bonivital Pool closing for renovations
Bonivital Pool (1215 Archibald St.) will be closed for approximately one year beginning this spring while the facility undergoes renovations. Renovations will include:
- Accessibility upgrades in the front lobby, including new universal and gendered changerooms
- A new accessible sauna and multi-purpose room incorporated into the open pool deck area
- Upgrades to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), water heating system, and air handling unit
- Upgrades to the lighting system, fire alarm system, and power distribution to support the upgraded mechanical system
Leisure Guide programming, including swimming lessons, will not be offered at Bonivital Pool during renovations. Regular pool users are encouraged to visit leisureONLINE to view available programming at alternate locations.
