Street Changes associated with the Grosvenor Bike Boulevard

March 06, 2010

Changes are proposed to Grosvenor Street to create a new bikeway system in our neighbourhood. New painted bike lanes, curb bump-outs and traffic circles are key components of the overall plan. These and other types of traffic calming measures are used to create bike boulevards: roadways that are shared by cars and bikes but provide a more convenient and comfortable environment for cyclists.

Paint bike lanes on both sides of the street between Centennial and Stafford Remove on-street parking, except between Wellington and Cambridge Construct curb bump outs between Cambridge and Stafford Change stop signs and place traffic circles at certain intersections
