529 Garage is free, easy, and connects you to a global network focused on bike security. Bike data registered with 529 Garage is accessible by jurisdictions around the world.
If your registered bike has been stolen, set an alert on 529 Garage and report it to Police by:
- Calling 204-986-6222
- Reporting it online
- Visiting a Winnipeg Police Service Centre
Shield stickers are available for purchase from 529 Garage and let potential thieves know your bike is registered.
As of May 1, 2024, the City will no longer accept new registrations for the existing bike registry. If your bike is already registered with the City, your information will be kept on file until May 1, 2026.
You can contact 311 to update your information in the City’s registry until May 1, 2026.
