Indoor pools to reopen

Indoor pools previously closed due to COVID-19 restrictions will begin reopening to members of the public on Monday, March 29, 2021

The following indoor pools will begin opening on March 29:

  • Bonivital
  • Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex
  • Elmwood Kildonans
  • Kinsmen Sherbrook
  • Margaret Grant
  • Pan Am
  • Sergeant Tommy Prince Place
  • Seven Oaks
  • St. James Assiniboia Centennial
  • Transcona Kinsmen Centennial

They will open at 25 percent capacity for aquatic sports groups, lane swimming, aquatic fitness classes, and limited public swimming. Capacity at indoor pools is limited in accordance with provincial public health orders. Pools and fitness areas will be regularly sanitized for the publics’ safety.

Please book swim blocks at leisureONLINE or by calling 311  prior to arriving at the pools. Blocks will be offered on a weekly on Thursdays, and reservations can be made up to 30 minutes in advance.

Access to lockers and change rooms/showers will be limited and spaced out to follow physical distancing guidelines. Please come dressed to swim and ready to use the fitness amenities.
